Today we played at the beach.
Today we looked for minnows swimming in the lake
Today we thew rocks in the water and giggled as they splashed.
Today we searched for shells, filling our pockets with our findings to show Daddy.
Today we dug in the sand looking for the pirate's buried treasure.
Today we wrote our names in the sand with sticks.
Today we marched and stomped in the leaves along the shore.
Today the warm sun was shining down on us while the cool breeze hit our faces.
Today we smiled, laughed and played.
Today was a good day.
